ALL BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, MODERN, LYRICAL and HOP-HOP students MUST HAVE a black leotard. Ballet students should wear pink tights and pink leather ballet shoes. Jazz students must have black jazz pants and black jazz shoes. Modern students must have black footless tights; no shoes required, however, foot thongs may be worn (see instructor). Tap students must wear black tap shoes and have black pants available. All female students should have hair up and out of their face for class and performances. A bun is preferred. Ballet: Students ages 10 and under may wear pink or black leotards to class. A black leotard is required for class performances. Shorts, pants and other loose fitting clothing is not permitted. Hair should be neatly off face and neck, and long hair must be in a bun. NO tutus, however, leotards with skirts attached are permitted. *All students should consider purchasing leg warmers and dance sweaters for the winter months. Layers are important for keeping warm however, heavy/baggy clothing will not be permitted in class. *Younger children can wear stretch pants and long sleeved tops during the winter over their ballet attire to stay warm. Hip-Hop: Black Leotard, Capri pants or Jazz pants and tennis shoes or jazz shoes are required. Students may wear fitted shirts over a leotard if they choose. Jeans or loose fitting t-shirts are not allowed. Other classes should see their instructor for appropriate dance attire for each specific class.
