Belly Dance Information |
|
American Style called Tribal: this is a fusion of styles modeled after ATS (American Tribal Style), ITS (Improvisational Tribal Style), and WFT (World Fusion Tribal). This unique form of Tribal belly dance is a group oriented dance style, utilizing “cues” for non-verbal communication between dancers, while improvising your dance to music. Belly Dance in any form improves your posture, strengthens your back muscles, tones your abdominal muscles, as well as toning your arms and legs. And, lets face it, its pure enjoyment to get out and dance! You do not need any prior belly dance or any other dance experience to participate. Do a fantastic thing for your body and yourself and try belly dance. |

What Should I bring and wear? |
|
Bring a big smile, a yoga mat if you have one (if not, we have ones you may borrow) and a desire to learn. Suggestions for what to wear: Pants: Exercise, dance or harem pants Top: Choli, fitted Tee or discreet sports bra (if you wanna show your belly!) · If you choose to wear a hip scarf, please refrain from coins. · Clothing requests are specific to allow the instructor to view body alignment. Don’t be shy– all body types are beautiful! |

If you enroll for the 8 week sessions and have paid for all 8 weeks in advance, you will receive a $10 discount!!! Students who attend both Friday and Monday classes will receive an additional $5 discount! OR you may “drop-in” for $15/class! We will not hold classes on May 26th (Memorial Day) or June 20th (school performance night) |
